Easy Sermon Notes (“ESN”, “we”) is a tool for preparing sermons and generating presentation slides. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the service and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we store
- Account data: your name, email, church, role, and preferences.
- Your content: sermons, notes, outlines, uploaded images, series/tags, and the slide decks and documents generated from them.
- Usage records: publish history and (if you use Preach Mode) your delivery timing, used to refine pacing estimates for you.
Your content belongs to you. It is used only to provide the service to you and your church, and is not shared with other churches.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — page views and outbound link clicks. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and collects no personally identifying information. This is why you see only a brief notice rather than a cookie-consent wall.
Error monitoring
To keep the service reliable we log technical errors (via Sentry). These reports are diagnostic — stack traces and request context — and are used solely to find and fix problems.
Service providers
- Shopify processes subscription billing. We never see or store your full payment card details.
- Resend delivers transactional email (setup links, notifications). Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link.
- OpenAI may process sermon text when you use AI-assisted features, to generate the requested output. It is not used to train models on your content.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your sermons at any time. To export your data or close your account and have its data removed, contact us at the address below. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any such message.
